Luis Praxmarer is founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Experton Group International and Global Research Director.
Mr. Praxmarer is a renowned expert for new information technologies and the definition of future trends in the global IT market. He especially focuses on subjects concerning the IT’s value as contribution to corporate success through innovation and efficiency and the impact of IT on the global economy, regionally and in countries.
Before starting Experton Group, Luis Praxmarer founded META Group Deutschland GmbH in 1994, was owner and Chief Executive Officer of META Group AG and General Manager EMEA. He left META Group on December 31, 2005.
Mr. Praxmarer has over 30 years of experience in the information technology industry in Europe, US and the Middle East. In addition, he is an accredited expert with Startups, Mergers & Acquisitions, Research, Sales and Marketing. Computer Woche Germany ranked him as one of the most influential IT experts. Before founding META Group Deutschland GmbH in 1994, Mr. Praxmarer held various managerial positions at Digital Equipment, including sales manager and corporate marketing manager in the US.
Dr. Hellmuth Broda is Executive Advisor at Experton Group. For the previous years he was Chief Technology Officer of Sun Microsystems Inc., Menlo Park, CA.
Management expertise: People management, management of complex projects, problem, solving, conflict management and resolution, result centered workshop moderation, conference moderator and chairperson.

Dr. Carlo Velten is Senior Advisor at Experton Group. Carlo Velten focuses on emerging web and open source technologies. He advises companies and IT-vendors regarding social media, enterprise 2.0, semantic web, cloud computing and search technologies. Additionally, he supports private equity and venture capital firms in their due diligence and portfolio management activities.
Carlo Velten previously worked in the venture capital industry. As partner at GENES Ventures and lecturer at the START Intra + Entrepreneurship Center he actively initiated and supported several high-tech companies. He is co-founder of social search company Qitera and business angel for young technology companies. Beforehand, Carlo Velten was practice leader and consultant at IT-research firm TechConsult, providing strategic vendor consulting and research for customers like Microsoft, Fujitsu-Siemens-Computers, SAP, HP and others.
Carlo Velten holds a M.Sc. and PhD. in Management and Business Informatics. He was research fellow at San José State University, CA. and teaches entrepreneurship and innovation management at various universities.
Jens-Uwe Meyer, Founder and Managing Director “die Ideeologen”
Jens-Uwe Meyer, director of Die Ideeologen, is Germany's highest-profile expert in creativity in companies. In 2009 and 2010, he published around 90 articles in German and international publications (including FAZ, Welt, various management publications). The author of six books combines the strategic expertise he gained from his MBA with creative thinking techniques.
Jens-Uwe Meyer holds Germany's first teaching position in Corporate Creativity in the MBA curriculum at HHL – Leipzig Graduate School of Management, where he is currently completing a doctorate in the field. His resume is as interesting as the ideas he promotes: before setting up Die Ideeologen, he was a police inspector in Hamburg, a studio manager in the U.S. and lead reporter for Pro Sieben and a radio director.

Dr. Friedrich Froeschl - Chairman and Director
Dr. Friedrich Froeschl joined the Board of MphasiS in March 2009. Dr. Froeschl is a Physicist with PhD and an executive MBA. He is currently heads Hi Tec Invest GmBH & Co. which is a private equity management and consulting company with focus on information and communication technology industries.
Prior to founding Hi Tec Invest in October 2004, Dr. Froeschl was Corporate Vice President for Corporate Information and Operations (CIO), and member of the managing board of Siemens AG. In 1995, he joined Siemens Business Services as the worldwide President & CEO, representing the company in over 40 countries. In 2002, he was appointed as Member of the Managing Board and Corporate Vice President for Corporate Information and Operations of the entire Siemens organization with almost half a million employees globally. During the course of his career at Siemens, he has been in charge of multi-billion dollar budgets, and covered all ICT related aspects including procurement, cost optimization, e-business and process management.
Prior to Siemens, Dr. Froeschl was CEO of Computer Sciences Corporation, a major global player in IT, Outsourcing and Consulting based in Germany. Before that, he held positions as Vice President and Business Head at Digital Equipment Corporation and Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm (today EADS) respectively. Throughout his career, Dr. Froeschl has been actively involved in both larger multi-billion dollar deals as well as mid-size M&A projects.
