With 30 years of experience in the European IT services industry, Stratos focuses on the application of market research in the areas of IT outsourcing, business process outsourcing and transformation, shared service centres and global sourcing and service delivery. Since 10 years, he facilitates outsourcing transactions in single-sourced, multi-sourced and joint venture settings – at national and multinational levels. He combines detailed market knowledge with a unique delivery style to advise demand-side and supply-side clients, at the most senior levels, in diverse areas including: sourcing strategy development and implementation, risk assessment and mitigation, contract provisioning and negotiation, operational excellence and value creation, and governance of outsourcing relationships and transactions.

Stratos founded Anastasia, an independent applied market research firm, which supports outsourcing and insourcing undertakings. He was Vice President at META Group for more than eight 8 years in the areas of systems management, operational excellence, and IT services and outsourcing. Prior to joining META Group, Stratos held senior positions with diverse management consulting firms and spent 13 years with Digital Equipment Corporation in the areas of network design, systems integration, user support and consulting.

Stratos is a frequent keynote speaker at industry conferences and authored numerous industry publications.

He holds a BSc (honours) degree in Computer Science and an MSc degree in Numerical Analysis from Imperial College (London University, U.K.) and an MSc degree in Management Science from the University of Calgary (Canada).
